You have to remember that this was back in the days of the Iraq war and it was *crucial* that artists, especially pop musicians, stand up for peace in their press photos. Looking back, our naked idealism seems kinda naive, yeah, but seriously, those were wild times – Bush, war in Iraq, etc. We just felt we had to do this picture.
